Sbagliando s'impara

Salve! If you have taken the course Beginning Italian at Westmoreland County Community College, you are familiar with the expression sbagliando s'impara--making mistakes we learn. I am hoping that you will all contribute using whatever language skills you have, even if it is just peppering your English with some pizza, pasta, and conversazione.

Il viaggio 2009

2009 Caterina, Scipio, Guiseppi, Giorgio e Michelle, siamo andati in Italia--una bella vacanza.  Vi consiglio le nostre experienze:

Prima siamo andati a Lucca, una carina citta'.  Puccini e' nato a Lucca.  E' possibile vedere un concerto.

Il Palio is a medieval horse race held twice a year in Sienna in the main piazza: Piazza del Campo.  Dieci contrade (neighborhoods) participano.  Ecco e' il programma.  Note bene numero 7: Onde.  Onda vuol dire: Wave.  Their mascot is the dolphin.
